Seminars and Workshops
The Grief-Sensitive Healthcare Project designs and delivers presentations for healthcare professionals across the United States.
The GSHP currently offers in-person learning experiences in and around New Haven, CT, Portland, OR, and Palo Alto, CA. Virtual trainings are available nationwide, and in-person requests in other locations may be considered when travel costs are covered.
Sessions are typically 60–90 minutes and are led by members of the GSHP team and training consultants, including experienced clinicians, educators, and researchers affiliated with the Yale Child Study Center and collaborating institutions.
“We definitely do not get enough of this topic in our undergraduate training, and in our field this is something we see frequently. Having tangible tools to use to help us to guide our patients and their families through the death, dying, and bereavement process is so invaluable.”
